Why Wellness Matters for Beauty

(Or, When it Rains it Pours)

Why Wellness Matters for Beauty. Yes, It really does and here is why:

It starts with a stressful situation. It can be good stress or bad stress: the in-laws coming, the purchase of a house, your upcoming wedding, the death of a loved one, a new job… you get the picture. The next thing you know, you aren’t sleeping well, your skin looks dull and uneven, you are experiencing gastro-intestinal issues, you are breaking out!

You see, stress affects all of your body systems, and what goes on inside of your system will always show up through your skin. This is because your skin is not only your largest organ, it also performs more functions than any other organ. It is responsible for protecting us, regulating our temperatures, and elimination, just to name a few.

As a licensed master esthetician of three decades, specializing in wholistic beauty, I can recognize inner dis-ease such as liver damage, hormonal imbalances, dietary issues, and more. Once you see the symptom in the skin, your body has been in a state of imbalance for some time. To eliminate the symptom showing through the skin, you must find and fix the inner problem.

That is why wellness matters for beauty! You can strengthen your immune system, keep you hormones in balance, and keep inflammation away by practicing wellness. Further, by adding these wellness practices into your life, you will enjoy the added benefit of radiant skin.

Why wellness matters for beauty
For radiant beauty, practice wellness.

But What Does That Mean for Me?

How does the normal average woman who is not trained or certified in such things as yoga, integrative nutrition, or other wellness modalities even know what it looks like to practice wellness in our busy contemporary lifestyles?

Well, it isn’t as difficult sounds. First, you start simple, with small, do-able changes that require little difference to your existing daily routine and are therefore, easy to assimilate into your life. for example, you can get up 15 minutes early to sit quietly in gratitude. Or increase you water intake a little each day.

You can add in easy-to-incorporate, wellness supplements, such as Ami Wellness plant tinctures and full spectrum plant-infused active CBD for remedies specific to your needs.

Second, you enlist the help of an expert you trust to guide you through implementing lifestyle improvements tailored to your bio-individuality, your wants (if you don’t want to practice meditation, no one can force you!) and your needs (we are all utterly unique inside and out.)

That is where I come in.

I am passionate about helping women see their beauty in all their differences! Therefore, I have spent the last 30 years immersing myself in in studying and practicing a wholistic lifestyle so that I may provide you with the soundest recommendations in all areas of life.
